<p>In an article for <a href="http://www.experts-exchange.com" target="_blank" onclick="urchinTracker('/outgoing/www.experts-exchange.com?referer=');">Experts-Exchange.com</a> I look at Windows Server 2003 R2’s Windows Storage Server and Microsoft’s Single Instance Storage implementation.</p>
<p>Using a background service and idle processor time, the system can ensure one original copy and links back to it to reclaim space wasted by storing multiple copies of files.</p>
